MMX16/8 IEM Line Level Mix
The Line level Mix16 / 8 IEM System is a custom version of the Mamba MIX32/8 IEM system, in which only 16 input channels are available for all Mixers with 8 separate stereo IEMs. You will need to use the Mamba MIX32 App to control the system. Channels 17-32 will have no effect on the individual mix. All other features are same as Mamba MIX32 system. The key difference between Mix16/4 and Mix16/8 is the number of EQs per Mix. In the Mix16/4, EQs are available for all 16 channels Vs Mix16/8, there are 2 assignable EQs (1-16 ch) and Master MIX L and R EQ (total of 4 EQs per IEM). More models of Mamba MIX16/8 with ADAT input, Extn 16/8 Mix unit, 16/8 Mix and 16x8 CAT-5 digital snake with FoH analog or ADAT unit are also available.

The Line Level Mix is ideal for applications where the inputs to Monitor mix are already from a mixer or active splitter or DI boxes or some other devices that can generate line level signals for all 16 channels of mic inputs. The 8 stereo mixes are available as XLR balanced as well as TRS (direct headphone) for different application scenarios described. Nov 28, 2012, San Jose CA: The Chapel Community Center, located near Tampa FL has chosen the Mamba MIX32 system to enable stage musicians to mix their own IEM using iPad. The MIX32 system was installed by Rick from Profound Sound based in Tampa. The MIX32 was connected to direct outs from the FoH mixer and 8 individual IEM Mixes were sent using wireless headphone system. The entire setup was wireless as control of Mix using wifi and mix over wireless headset. The Musicians on stage use iPad to mix their own sound for ear-bud. A single rack Mamba MIX32 system provides 32 ch and 8 IEM to cover the entire band. The MIX32 App is very intuitive and provides an easy way to control the 8 mixes using one or 8 iPads.
